Marissa Nadler

Marissa Nadler played last night at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco. Performing solo and also with two members of her band, Marissa treated a small crowd seated on the floor of the usually packed and sweaty club to intimate and sprawling songs reminiscent of classic balladers like Anne Briggs as well as adventuresome arrangements and vocals like Kate Bush or Elizabeth Fraser.
